Innovations in Quality Control and Automation:

  • Engineered advanced camera systems integrated with robotic arms to automate QC processes, resulting in streamlined fabrication and quick design iterations.
  • Pioneered an automated milling robot capable of intricate 2-axis power transmission, specifically tailored to overcome intricate manufacturing challenges previously deemed “un-machinable.”
  • Strategically designed over 10 robust machinery test fixtures. These were pivotal for accelerated lifetime tests and part qualifications, resulting in a 20% surge in final part approvals. This optimization leveraged FEA simulations to achieve a perfect balance of mass, stiffness, and cost.

Industrial Design & Testing Systems:

  • Introduced an automated sandblaster system, complete with solenoid controls, digital IO, and safety-first relay/e-stop circuits. This system was thoughtfully designed considering ease of service, manufacturing efficiency, and optimal form factor.
  • Conceptualized and realized both hydraulic and electric load testing systems for client-specific parts, spearheading load tests and formulating accelerated test plans to guarantee product durability.

Programming and Digital Infrastructure:

  • Proficiently programmed diverse hardware including Watlow heater controllers, Trinamic motor controllers, and PLCs. These systems supported projects ranging from bespoke heat treatment furnaces to high-tech QC robotic systems.
  • Established company-wide standards for CAD processes, including Solidworks Drawing Templates and seamless ERP integration.
  • Successfully introduced a Lot Tracking system across the organization, and adeptly managed supplier relations to ensure project deliveries matched design specifications and timelines.

ERP & Software Development:

  • Led ERP administration, focusing on backend enhancements such as operation creation, process optimization, ECO generation, automation of BPMs, and API development.
  • Crafted an automated Python Middleware that bridged the gap between QC Software and ERP. This innovation was recognized and acquired by HIGHQA.
  • Implemented CNC Monitoring and DNC across numerous CNC machines, ensuring seamless integration and documentation from CMMs.
